Para Powerlifter

Ever since I was a child, I felt uncomfortable with the distinctions made by people other than my own will, such as ‘It's like XX, and not like XX,’ and I wish there was a world where everyone could live the way they wanted.

Upon becoming a person with a disability and feeling strongly identified as a distinct stakeholder, I found myself engaging in conversations with athletes and staff from various countries during competitions. Through these dialogues, I frequently encountered LGBTQ+ individuals, which sparked my interest in minority issues beyond disabilities.

Recently, the categorization of LGBTQ+ has become more detailed, and I feel that almost everyone can relate to one of the categories. I believe it's essential for everyone to consider these issues as their own and work towards a world where no one is discriminated against. Therefore, I have decided to participate in activities as an Ally Athlete to think about what I can do to contribute.
