平素より、プライドハウス東京コンソーシアムの活動にご協力、ご賛同いただきまして誠にありがとうございます。

2023年4月に設立されたNPO法人プライドハウス東京は、新宿御苑前の「プライドハウス東京レガシー（2020年10月開設）」という日本初の常設の大型総合LGBTQ+センターの運営を行っています。性別、性自認、性的指向、恋愛指向などに関わらず、誰もが安全・安心にいられる居場所づくりに取り組んできました。また、プライドハウス東京コンソーシアムとして、31のLGBTQ+やD&Iの専門団体、専門家の強みを活かし活動しております。

現在、LGBTQ+当事者の支援活動に取り組む他団体のメンバーに性加害行為の疑いがあるとして（以下「本件」と言います）、いくつかの団体から声明文が出されています。そしてプライドハウス東京コンソーシアムで活動しているメンバーの中で、本件の関係当事者がいる可能性を私たちは認識し、現在、状況の確認も含めて真摯に対応しているところです。

本件について、暴力やハラスメントが起きた際には被害に遭われた方に寄り添って対応することが重要である、という当団体が常日頃から大切にしている基本姿勢に基づき、プライドハウス東京コンソーシアムの活動に関わる方々の心理的安全性や心理的ケアも含め、組織としてできる対応をしていきます。

NPO法人プライドハウス東京は、全ての人が、性のあり方によって取り残されることなく、平等に、すこやかに生きられる社会づくりに貢献し、さまざまな分断を超えるための希望と経験の創出をミッションに掲げ取り組んで参りました。今後も本ミッションに照らし、誰もが安全・安心できる社会をつくるため、暴力・ハラスメントへの対応を進めるとともに、未然に防ぐための取り組みについて、共同代表以下全役職員が責任を共有し、推進していきます。

LGBTQ+当事者を含めた全ての人々にとって、安全・安心な居場所の提供と、安全・安心なコミュニティ作りに貢献できるように、今後、ますます組織としての取り組みを強化して参ります。

Currently, several organizations have issued statements regarding alleged sexual misconduct by a person involved in an organization that supports activities for LGBTQ+ individuals. We are aware that this person may have also been involved with the Pride House Tokyo Consortium, and we are currently in the process of confirming the facts involved, and plan to address the issue thoroughly.

Our organization’s fundamental belief is that it is essential to stand by victims of violence and harassment when such incidents occur, and we are committed to taking all necessary actions as an organization. This includes providing psychological safety and psychological care to all, including to those involved in the activities of the Pride House Tokyo Consortium. 

Pride House Tokyo, as a non-profit organization, has been steadfastly pursuing its mission to contribute to the creation of a society where all individuals can live equally and healthily without being marginalized due to their gender or sexual identity. We aim to create hope and experiences that transcend various divisions. In alignment with this mission, all executives and employees, including the co-chairs, will continue to share responsibility and promote initiatives to address violence and harassment and prevent its occurrence, ultimately working towards the establishment of a safe and secure society for all.

We will also persist in our efforts as an organization to provide a safe and secure environment for all individuals, including LGBTQ+ people, and contribute to the establishment of a safe and secure community.

Pride House Tokyo, a non-profit organization established in April 2023, operates Japan’s first permanent, large-scale, comprehensive LGBTQ+ center called Pride House Tokyo Legacy (opened in October 2020) near Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station. We have been working to create a place where everyone can be safe and secure, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or romantic orientation. We also operate as the Pride House Tokyo Consortium, drawing on the strengths of 31 LGBTQ+ and D&I professional organizations and experts.
