2024年1月1日に発生した令和6年能登半島地震により亡くなられた方々に哀悼の意を表するとともに、被災された皆様に心からのお見舞いを申し上げます。政府により激甚災害と指定されるほどの未曾有の大災害となり、報道等で被災地の様子が紹介されるたびに胸を痛めるばかりです。今まさに、被災地にてさまざまな支援に取り組んでおられる方々に、深い敬意を表します。

プライドハウス東京コンソーシアムは、31のLGBTQ+やD&Iの専門団体、専門家の皆様にご参画いただいており、性別、性自認、性的指向、恋愛指向などに関わらず、誰もが安全・安心にいられる居場所づくりに取り組んできました。全国各地で地域に根ざして活動するLGBTQ+支援団体の皆様とも、その地域の実情や課題に合わせた活動を共に進めており、石川県を拠点に活動する団体や専門家の皆様とも連携を進めてまいりました。

被災地で求められる支援内容は、時間の経過と共に変化していきます。これまでの連携を土台に、地域の皆様の声を丁寧にヒアリングしながら、プライドハウス東京コンソーシアムとしてできる支援とは何かを考え、展開していきます。

改めて、被災地の皆様の安全と一日も早い復興を、衷心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Our hearts go out to those who lost their lives in the wake of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024, and our deepest sympathies to all affected by this devastating event. This unprecedented calamity, officially recognized as a “severe disaster” by the government, has left us profoundly saddened as we follow the situation through various media channels. We also extend our utmost respect to those actively engaged in providing diverse forms of support on the ground.

The Pride House Tokyo Consortium, comprising 31 LGBTQ+ and D&I organizations and professionals, is committed to establishing a haven that welcomes everyone regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and romantic orientation. We have also been striving to foster a sense of safety and security in collaboration with many local LGBTQ+ support groups across Japan including activists and professionals rooted in Ishikawa Prefecture.

Pride House Tokyo Consortium vows to conscientiously assess and develop the support we can offer as we draw upon our past collaborations with these professionals while remaining attuned to the voices of local residents, ensuring our efforts align with their unique challenges and aspirations, and understanding that the needs for support in affected regions will evolve over time.

Once again, we express our heartfelt wishes for the safety of all individuals in the affected areas and a swift recovery for the communities impacted.
