APP CLOSED：Pride House Tokyo is looking for 120 charity marathon runners as an official charity of the Tokyo Marathon Foundation Charity “RUN with HEART.” Let’s celebrate diversity as a member of Pride Runners! International and overseas runners are also welcome!

If you are resident outside of Japan and have been selected as a charity runner, please check the email about the bank information for donation, which was sent from project@scpjapan on 27th July.

Pride Runners will receive some rewards including – a marathon training with athletes who support the LGBTQ community and celebrating completion of the marathon with drag queens.
As an official charity of the Tokyo Marathon Foundation Charity “RUN with HEART,” Pride House Tokyo will be accepting 120 charity marathon runners for the Tokyo Marathon 2023, which will take place on March 5th, 2023. Pride Runners will be able to have an opportunity to join LGBTQ+ workshops and to train for the marathon with athletes. 
“RUN with HEART” (*) is a charity program run by the Tokyo Marathon Foundation. The goal is to “Turn Your Love for Running into Someone’s Happiness,” as they will provide an opportunity for those who run and support the Tokyo Marathon, to think about social contributions and deliver an opportunity to take action.
Donations from Pride Runners will be used to run Japan’s first LGBTQ+ center “Pride House Tokyo Legacy” and support the LGBTQ+ youth.

Tokyo Marathon 2023 Charity ー Overview 
◎Number of Participants: 120 persons
◎The amount of donation: Minimum of 100,000 JPY per person  
　*There are no limitations for the amount of donations.
　*Donations are open for corporations also.
◎Runners application for those residing outside of Japan: July 15th , 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to July 24th, 2022 11:59 p.m. (JST)
　*Donations are accepted until August 31st, 2022 11:59 p.m. (JST)
   * Donations without marathon participation are also welcome.

◎Selection Process: Charity marathon runners will be selected using the charity marathon runners’ standards.
◎Results: All applicants will receive an email with the result in the order received. Please note that there may be delays for the emails.
◎How to donate: Charity marathon runners will get the bank information for the donation. Those who donate to the account by August 5th, 2022 are then officially confirmed as the charity marathon runners.
　*This donation is applicable for tax deduction. After the donation, a proof of donation will be issued.

Pride Runner Rewards

(1) LGBTQ+ workshops (maximum of three sessions)
<Contents>
We will host a LGBTQ+ workshop of different genres, where members of the Pride House Tokyo consortium have expertise in. The topics are (1) youth, (2) sports, and (3) creating a safe space. Pride Runners can choose all of as many topics they like from those listed above. 
*If you donate as a corporation, the number of people who can join the LGBTQ+ workshops is limited to three persons for a 100,000 JPY donation.

Three workshops will take place between December 2022 and January 2023.
*Pride Runners can watch the recording at a later date if the schedule is not convenient.

(2) Training for the marathon with athletes

We will invite athletes who are affiliated with Pride House Tokyo to train for the marathon with Pride Runners. The athletes will be announced at a later date.

(3) Celebrating completion with drag queens
<Contents>
“Tokyo Marathon 2023,” will have a celebration for the completion of the marathon. Let’s share our joys and accomplishments with fellow runners, Pride House Tokyo members and drag queens!
