「東京レインボーマラソン 2020」4/5 (日)開催見送りのお知らせ/”Tokyo Rainbow Marathon 2020″ 4/5 (Sun) Notice of Postponement

この度の新型コロナウイルス感染拡大に伴い、2020年4月5日（日）に開催を予定しておりました「東京レインボーマラソン 2020」に関しまして、実行委員会内での協議の結果、開催の見送りを決定いたしましたのでお知らせいたします。

政府からの発表や直近イベント自粛に関する要請、各種メディアにて報じられている感染拡大の状況等を踏まえ、参加者および関係者の皆様の健康・安全面を第一優先に検討した結果、本大会に関しましても開催 1 か月前のこのタイミングにて開催を見送る判断をいたしました。

大会開催を楽しみにしておられた参加ランナーの皆様はじめ、協賛企業様、各種法人・ 自治体・協力団体様、並びに関係者の皆様におかれましては、ご迷惑をおかけいたしますことお詫び申し上げます。

なお今後の対応につきましては現在、延期・中止などのあらゆる可能性を視野に、社会 情勢を鑑みつつ関係各所と確認を進めながら、慎重に協議・検討を進めております。

大会自体の延期・中止ならびにすでにお振込み頂いている参加費の扱いについてもエントリー 頂いております皆様には 3 月中旬（19 日頃まで）を目処に、大会事務局より代表者の方に 直接メールにてご連絡させて頂く予定です。

状況が整い次第、改めてお知らせいたしますので、今しばらくお待ちいただきますようお願い申し上げます。

改めましてこの度の「東京レインボーマラソン 2020」を楽しみにしておられた皆様、ご期待頂いていた皆様、関係者の皆様には大変心苦しくありますが、ご理解・ご協力を賜りますよう何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

We regret to announce that we have postponed the “Tokyo Rainbow Marathon 2020” which had been planned for April 5th to a yet to-be-determined future date in light of the ongoing spread of the novel coronavirus and for the safety and health of all participants.

This decision was made based on the government’s request for voluntary bans on large scale events and the current reports on the spread of the virus one month before we were suppose to hold this event.

We sincerely apologize to all the participating runners, sponsoring companies, corporations, municipalities, cooperating groups, and related parties who have been looking forward to this marathon.

Currently, we are carefully looking at all our future options, taking into account all possible situations, including even possibly cancelling, in consultation with all relevant parties.

The secretariat will directly contact via mail representatives of all the participants who have transfered funds and paid their entry fee by mid-March (March 19th by the latest) for further information.

We ask for everyone’s patience as we update you as soon as the situation allows us to.

Once again, we apologies to all who who had been looking forward to Tokyo Rainbow Marathon 2020 and all who worked to put it together.
