LGBTQ の若者への新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響に関する緊急アンケート 『LGBTQ Youth TODAY』を開始しました。/Our survey of the impact of the pandemic on LGBTQ youth launched.

新型コロナウイルス感染拡大やその防止政策のなかで、若い世代の LGBTQ などのセクシュアル・マイノリティが抱える不安や困難についての声を集め、課題を可視化し、事態の改善に向けて広く届けるための緊急アンケート調査『LGBTQ Youth TODAY』を開始しました。

新型コロナウイルス感染拡大により、LGBTQなどのセクシュアル・マイノリティの若者(12歳～34歳)に、どのような 困難が起こっているのかを把握し、国や各種団体、メディア等に届けることで、状況の改善に繋げていくことを目的としています。

回答結果を個人が特定できない方法で統計・ケースとして取りまとめ、状況の改善に役立つよう、ホームページで公開をするほか、マスメディアや関係省庁等の関係機関にも提供する予定です。

We would be grateful if all could help us in our survey of the impact of the pandemic on LGBTQ youth (12 to 34 years old) launched May 11, 2020 (Monday),

   The questionnaire called “LGBTQ Youth TODAY” hopes to look at the mental health, anxieties and issues surrounding the younger LGBTQ or sexual minority generation in Japan today as the novel coronavirus infections spread and strict prevention policy remain in place. Our purpose is get a full picture of the problems at hand, and ultimately to look to deliver more widely solutions that will hopefully improve the situation.  (Please note the survey is in Japanese only).

Once we have a handle on all the problems facing LGBTQ and other sexual minorities, we will be presenting them to the national government, various organizations and media with the intent and in the hope that it will lead to action and change.

We will be collating all the information from the survey in statistical and case formats and in a way where individuals will not be identified and their privacy will be protected. The final results will be published on our website and we will also be releasing it to related organizations, such as media and related government ministries so that we can all see the areas where improvements are needed.
